Frequently asked questions
What is a pleasure coach?
A pleasure coach is someone who helps people explore their relationship with pleasure, intimacy and their own body through guided conversations.
The focus of the coaching is not performance or technique, but awareness, curiosity and understanding how pleasure shows up in someone’s life.
Many people discover that pleasure is connected not only to sexuality, but also to emotions, body awareness, relationships and personal confidence.
Pleasure coaching & Sex coaching... are the same thing?
The two terms are often used interchangeably, but they can have slightly different meanings depending on the context.
Sex coaching is generally the broader term and can include different approaches to working with sexuality and intimacy.
Pleasure coaching emphasises a slightly different perspective. Instead of focusing only on sexual questions or performance, it explores the broader experience of pleasure in someone’s life. This can include:
sexuality and intimacy
body awareness
emotional openness
curiosity about desire
reconnecting with pleasure in everyday life
For many people, sexuality is only one part of the picture. Pleasure can also be connected to how we relate to our body, our emotions and our relationships.
For simplicity, the two terms are often used interchangeably, but the coaching approach on this website focuses on pleasure as a broader human experience, not only on sexuality.
How is this different from other types of sex coaching?
Different professionals work with sexuality in different ways.
Some sex coaches work in a somatic or body-based way, similar to physiotherapists or body practitioners, and may include physical exercises or touch as part of their work.
Others are licensed therapists or psychologists who address sexual difficulties in the context of psychological patterns, mental or phisical health or long-term relational dynamics.
Pleasure coaching on this website is conversation-based coaching.
It focuses on reflection, curiosity and helping clients better understand their experiences and their relationship with pleasure.
No physical contact is ever involved.

They are held online, and the client can choose the format they feel most comfortable with between video or phone call.
